Price of Carpet

The price of the carpet should be evenhanded with the quality and value of your preferred carpet. Prices depends on the materials used (Silk, Wool or Combination), the size of the carpet, place of origin, knots per square inch, and the rarity of design. Every handmade carpet is unique. However the more intricate the design is, the more expensive it is.

Material Used

You can check which kind of materials is used in the Persian carpet. All authentic Persian Carpets uses natural materials such as wool, silk or cotton. Natural is much durable compared to synthetic as it will never do harmful effects like allergies or pollution.

Authenticity & Origin

Always ask for certificate of authenticity and origin of the carpets you intent to purchase. This certificate will confirm information of your carpet like origin, size, material used, KPSI if ever you intent to sell or assess it for insurance purposes.

Imperfection

Handmade carpets are always imperfect. The inconsistency of workmanship of Persian carpets is proof that it is handmade. Weavers believe that only the Supreme Being is perfect. Thus, even though through years of weaving, the weavers can make the carpet looks like perfect. They will intentionally make a mistake in one of the lines of the carpet.
